In 1997, Wendy and Richard Swygert purchased Cedar Knoll. Ever since the purchase, we have been working on updating the home and barn facilities. Wendy has had horses for over 20 years. She grew up in Pennsylvania showing hunters on the American Horse Show Association and Pennsylvania Horse Show Association. As a child Wendy dreamed of having her own horse farm. In 1997 this dream came true with Cedar Knoll.

The Swygert's purchased a yearling colt, MWS Flashy Rocknroll, in 2000 and after his show career are hoping to stand him at stand to their broodmares and a limited number of outside mares. The broodmare band is growing slowly while they search for good bloodlines to cross with their stud. So far they have picked some of the top bloodlines in the AQHA world including Zippo Pine Bar, Speedy Glow, Impressive, Investor, Sonny Dee Bar and Dynamic Deluxe.
